For many communities in Southeast, Southcentral, and the Interior, wood remains a renewable, locally abundant energy resource that can decrease energy costs, displace diesel fuel, and provide jobs.
This statewide conference will bring together biofuel experts and community leaders from Alaska, Canada, and the Lower 48 to discuss successful community energy projects, the status of Alaskan wood pellet manufacturing plants in development, and new technologies for converting biomass to power and liquid fuels. The program includes a free trade show open to the public on Wednesday evening and a technical workshop on the morning of Friday November 16.
If you are interested in being apart of the Trade Show please download the registration packet for exhibitors here.
